Jeff Jones is a lens based artist born and raised on Vancouver island

He work in the black-and-white medium, both analog and digital. He has been a photographer since 2015 after discovering his father’s old film camera and immediately fell in love with the craft.

His work is based on themes of the human condition: Memory, place, time, connection, isolation, conflict and power.

he finds the photo book and printed matter crucial as it elevates work from a collection of digital files to a tangible form one can hold .

He has also self published small run trade edition magazines over the course of the last 7 years which have been disseminated throughout North America to buyers and collectors.
